Cats have never been particularly interested in following the rules of geometry. Show them a spacious bed, and they'll ignore it. Leave an empty cardboard box on the floor, and suddenly it's the most desirable piece of real estate in the entire house. The smaller the box, the stronger the attraction seems to be.

The best part is the confidence. Not once does a cat look embarrassed while half of its body hangs over the edge of a box. In fact, they usually look incredibly proud of themselves, as if they've just completed an important architectural project and expect everyone nearby to admire the results.

Of course, every box cat has its own signature pose. Some become perfect little loaves. Others spill over the sides like melted ice cream. A select few manage to twist themselves into shapes that would leave a yoga instructor concerned and slightly impressed at the same time.
